Robert Bendit

Vocal Coach. Song Writer. Poet.  

 

Raised in Round Lake, IL,  Robert was born with a love for music and the arts. Composing his first song 'Spring Will Come' at the age of nine, he spent most of his young adult life performing in theater and opera venues. After receiving a B.A. from the University of Illinois, Robert made his way through Europe and the Middle East performing in theaters and music clubs. Most notably, Robert had a major role in the musical film 'Amlash Enchanted Forest' which won a Golden Bear award in 1974. 

Robert met his wife Flora in 1972 and moved to New York CIty in 1980 to continue his musical career. Since then, Robert has performed his original compositions in numerous venues throughout the New York area. Robert has nurtured both friendships and partnerships with the likes of Sid Bernstein, Ron Alexenburg, Ernie Lake, and many more.  His original compositions and music have garnered respect and appreciation from many.   

Currently, Robert lives in Brooklyn, NY with his family. He is a private Vocal Technique Instructor and continues his pursuit to find the right artists and partners for his music.
